Christian Taylor served as co-executive producer for MTV's Teen Wolf from 2012 to 2014.
Early Life and Career[]
While in school at the University of New York, he wrote and directed a thesis film, The Lady in Waiting. The film was nominated the 1992 Academy Award for Best Live-Action Short Film. However, it won the Gold Medal for Best Dramatic Film at the 1992 Student Academy Awards.
He has also done work for Six Feet Under for which he was nominated an Emmy Award for Outstanding Drama Series in 2002.
He served a writer and supervising producer for the ABC breakout show, Lost.
He served as head writer on Lucasfilm’s animated series, Star Wars: The Clone Wars writing episodes for the show’s third, fourth, and fifth seasons and receiving a 2015 Daytime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Writing in an Animated Program.
He collaborated with Jeff Davis other Teen Wolf alumni when he served as a producer and director for the Paramount+ series Wolf Pack.
Teen Wolf[]
Taylor’s relationship with MTV began with the 2009 release of the horror miniseries, Valemont, which he wrote. He returned to MTV as a writer, director, and co-executive producer on Teen Wolf during the show’s second, third, and fourth seasons.
He has written Abomination, Riddled, and Motel California which he also directed. He also directed the episodes De-Void and 117.
He made cameo appearances in the show as the Beacon Hills High School principal in Shape Shifted and Tattoo.
After Season 4, he left Teen Wolf to create the MTV show Eye Candy which lasted for one season.
