Crystal Reed is an American actor.
Crystal was born in Detroit, Michigan on February 6, 1985. She studied dance from an early age, performing in high school plays and musicals and studying in the Bachelor of Fine Arts program at Wayne State University.
She was a regular in Chicago based productions before moving to Los Angeles in 2008 to pursue film and television roles.
In addition to Teen Wolf, Crystal has appeared in the Lifetime Series “Drop Dead Diva” and 2 different versions of “CSI” on CBS. She also landed roles in another MTV series, “The Hard Times of RJ Berger” and the TNT police procedural Rizzoli & Isles.
She starred in the science fiction thriller “Skyline” with Eric Balfour and Donald Faison in 2010 and in the romantic comedy “Crazy, Stupid, Love” with Steve Carell and Ryan Gosling in 2011.
After wrapping the first season of Teen Wolf, Crystal completed work on another romantic comedy, “Jewtopia”, alongside Jennifer Love Hewitt and Jamie-Lynn Sigler. The film premiered in April 2012 at the Newport Beach Film Festival.
In 2012 she worked on two films, the crime drama "Too Late" and the high school thriller "Crush".
