Dino Meneghin was the primary composer for MTV's Teen Wolf.

Early Life and Career[]

Meneghin was born in Walnut Creek, California. He moved to Los Angeles when he was 18 to attend the University of Southern California's Studio/Jazz Guitar program. He graduated in 2004 with a Bachelor of Music degree.[1]

He worked with various R&B and pop acts before joining The Calling. Meneghin provided guitar and backing vocals on the album TWO and performed on a world tour to support the album.

Meneghin's relationship, both professional and romantic, with singer Liz Phair lasted several years. Meneghin toured with her and is listed as producer on Phair's 2005 album Somebody's Miracle.[2]

Meneghin also toured with Michael Bublé and Josh Groban.

In 2008, Meneghin was hired as the music producer for the MTV docudrama, Taking the Stage, which ran for two seasons. He also worked on the Paramount+ series, Wolf Pack.

Teen Wolf[]

While working on Taking the Stage, Meneghin met and became friends with Laura Webb. After Webb was tapped to be Teen Wolf's Music Supervisor, she asked Meneghin to put together a reel of his work for Executive Producer Jeff Davis.[3]

The two hit it off and have worked closely developing a "sonic palette" for the show.

Meneghin describes Teen Wolf as the favorite project of his career to date, "Jeff Davis is one of the most creative people I’ve ever met, but he has a work ethic that is second to none. He also treats people well and really respects the work of everyone on the show. That’s a very rare quality, and it makes for an environment where people work very hard to create something new and worthwhile."[4]

He made a cameo appearance in The Girl Who Knew Too Much as a conductor in the high school orchestra.
