Ian Bohen is an American actor best known for his work on the 1990s syndicated series Hercules: The Legendary Journeys.
Born in Carmel, California, Bohen began acting at the age of 13. He made his feature film debut at age 17 as Young Wyatt Earp in Kevin Costner’s biopic about the old west lawman.
In 1998, after appearing in flash backs as a Young Hercules in The Legendary Journeys, Bohen took the lead in a TV movie about the young demi-god. The success of the film led to a weekly series. Bohen was reportedly offered the role full time but turned it down. The part went instead to former Musketeer Ryan Gosling who filmed 50 episodes of the series.
Bohen may not be a household name but he is one of those rare actors who works consistently picking up small recurring roles and guest star spots on popular shows including Dawson’s Creek, JAG, Prison Break, Drop Dead Diva, and Mad Men.
