Melissa Ponzio is an American actor and comedian. She portrayed Melissa McCall on MTV's Teen Wolf.

She started as a recurring actor for the first five seasons until she was promoted to main cast in Season 6.

Early LifeEdit

Ponzio is part Sicilian, part Native American and part French.

She started performing at a young age, spending much of her childhood impersonating members of her family for laughs.

She credits a late night viewing of the movie Alien with her choice to pursue an acting career.

Ponzio studied theater at Georgia State University and worked for 3 years as a News Assignment Editor for an Atlanta area TV Station before quitting to work full time as an actor.


She found success first in commercials and was featured in more than one hundred regional and national advertisements.

On Television, Ponzio landed recurring roles on One Tree Hill and did three seasons on Army Wives.

She's also appeared in a number of guest roles on popular television shows including NCIS, CSI, Touch, The Gates and Dawson's Creek.

In 2013, Ponzio appeared as a guest star on AMC's The Walking Dead.

Ponzio is a co-owner of The Goods, Inc, a comedy and entertainment group based in Atlanta.
