He was born Stephen Sean Lunsford-White in Sacramento, California on November 25, 1989 and moved to Florida at age 6. As a boy, he was often in trouble for being a disruptive “class clown” in school. His mother enrolled him in acting classes to deal with this pent up creative energy.
He moved back to California at age 12 and was homeschooled while pursuing acting gigs. He quickly landed television roles on Nickelodeon and Disney Channel.
In 2012, Ford graduated from California Institute of the Arts and College of the Canyons where he studied film and cinema.
Using the name Stephen Lunsford, he made appearances on several popular broadcast network shows including ABC’s Desperate Housewives and Private Practice and Fox’s Malcom in the Middle.
In 2008 he was cast as the lead in the US adaptation of the Japanese Kamen Rider TV series.
He is a prolific YouTube film maker, creating feature film parodies under his Ascender brand.
Stephen has enjoyed success in feature films, appearing in Bratz in 2007, Maneater in 2009, Beneath The Darkness in 2012 and Sleigh Bells in 2017.
